New Eheim Compact Plus NW skimmer pump
Someone posted this on the MSX thread, and I thought the general skimmer crowd might be interested to see it. Eheim has a new NW skimmer pump called the Eheim Compact Plus

Nice, I read about this on a foreign message board a while back they were hyping it alot. Anyone got a idea of how much air its possed to pull or release date?

Doesn't look like it has a lot of needles on the needle wheel. Looks like two rows.

I wonder what size skimmer body it would work on. I have a Euro Reef CS 8/2 8'' body 24'' tall.

I note it also has an adjustable valve on the side. Interesting.

Those Eheim pumps are actually OEM by Eden in Italy...

I called Marinedepot they do not keep them in stock but have to be ordered . They also stated they are the replacement pumps for the deltic skimmers( aquabees )

Marine Depot wasn't making it very clear but said that they could not get the aquabees so they are offering this pump instead. I guess I can call again to get a clearer answer.

interseting. My msx 200 has been acting up lately and i love eheim pumps. wish it was a little cheaper, but eheim is always worth the extra money.

Interesting new pump. I am thinking replacing my Gen X 6000 with it. Will standard PVC fittings work? Or is it metric? Also does it include a venturi fitting?
