tailspot blenny question

I've had a tailspot in my tank for a month or so and so far he's a pretty cool fish. Then I got a firefish that was pretty shy at first and eventually started to come out on the blenny's side of the tank. I guess the blenny didn't like that very much because he would come out of his hole and harass the firefish, open his mouth real big and take some swipes at him. Eventually the firefish's top fin kept getting smaller and smaller, and then his other fins started to split and just generally look beat up. He kind of stopped eating, and then I never saw him again. Are tailspots usually aggressive towards other fish? He would only bother the firefish, the bangaii and percula he could care less about. Thanks in advance.

I've checked everywhere I could and never saw him. I'm guessing the CUC got to him.

I had a tailspot in my 90 for a couple years that did fantastic until he disappeared one day. Not sure if a jumped or what it's fate was, but it was a very hardy, attractive little fish that I never saw harass another fish in the tank. Must have been something about that firefish yours didn't like.

Yeah, I guess so. The LFS I got him from said I could take him back and swap him out for another one, so I may try that. I'd really like to get some firefish in there eventually, and it isn't going to be possible with this little dude.
