That's sad. I wonder if there is anything someone can do about that. It's like having 50 cats in a studio apartment.

Theres not many home systems big enough to contain a trigger that size. I would think 1000g minimum for a fish like that.

Some of the fish he has seem to enjoy somewhat crowded situations, but not THAT crowded, and not a trigger that friggin big!

I must say, though, to have that many fish in a reef that size, with lots of visibly happy coral, and nearly no algae to speak of, is quite a feat. I couldn't maintain a tank like that for a week without it turning into a kelp bucket.

I'm not buying that video to be real.

About a year ago, there was a post here with a similar video. Maybe even that same video. After everyone bashed him, it finally came out that it WAS a fake. The guy said that he worked for a film company & video shopped the video. He did it just to see everyones reaction.

Not sure if that IS the same video, but it looks like it.

he has another vid of him feeding an eel in the same setup.

That vid is a year old, i wanna see what he's got left now.. if anything..

sadly. I have personally seen worse over stocking of tanks. In privately owned tanks, and lfs "display" (Fish NOT for sale) tanks.

See - i'm with the guy above that says it is fake or staged. I mean if you look at the fish they are too fat first and foremost. Then add to the fact that they all look super clean with no signs of fighting or stress - its a rick roll.

Sorry - but everything is pointing to it being a set up. From water clarify to fish health and full bellies.

I have seen way worse than this and unfortunately it occurs way too often in our hobby.

I wish that it were not the case, but there are a lot of people that say "a fish is a fish" and dont care for them outside of that.

It makes me sick to see this, but I have to take myself away from these videos and pictures to stay sane.

Hopefully he just borrowed the fish to take the video and then he's going to give them back to his friend who has a 500g tank.

I don't understand how his bio filter can keep up with that mess.
