Mojano infestation

I have a client who has a really bad mojano infestation in their reef.

I was wondering if there is a reef safe fish that will eat mojano?

Is it the same as aptasia? Copperband butterfly, longnose butterfly, Bergia nudibranch?

thanks

I don't think you will find an animal to eat all of them. If I get too many I just use a small wire brush from a dremmel and scrub them into oblivian. I have never seen them return from this.
I kind of like it when I have a few of them. Years ago we tried to grow them and were usually un successful.
They don't seem to bother anything and I have other corals growing right along side them.
I think it's a rumor that they kill corals.

fried of mine has hundreds of them in his tank. He is planning on getting a small torch and melting them off, the putting the rock into a different tank to make sure no new ones get on it.

paul - thats a fresh and new perspective as most are trying to rid their tanks of these guys. i'm trying to get rid of mine - zapped a few w/vinegar (not to much or ph drops) and after zapping one i took the needle to him and scratched him off the rock. made me think - a dental pick or something of that sort may be more effective (providing you can reach them) than peppermint shrimp, nudibranches, copperbands, kleins, burgess, aptasia x, etc...

They come right off with a small circular wire brush. It just turns them into smoke.
They hate that. Sometimes I just show them a picture of a wire brush and they drop dead

Like a lot of other things in this hobby, people go nuts over things when there is really no basis for it.
I know they can multiply al over the place and I don't want that. But I find them very easy to eliminate.

im my friends tank, we have tried injecting them with vinegar, kalk paste, Aptasia X, Joes Juice, would kill a few, but more would take their place. He finally got tired of trying and they have taken over. So for now he has a fish only tank that is covered in majanos. Might give the wire brush a try in addition to the torching.

I have a green file fish that eats them , I used to have hundreds, I manually removed what i could using a dental pick tool. The one I couldnt I used aiptasia x which wont kill them, but makes them move so then I could get to them. All the rest the green filefish got. I can now say my tank is Majaho free
