4x24 watt t5 good for deresa clam?
hey,
on my 30 gallon cube will a 4x24 watt t5 be good enough for a deresa clam? .they are individually reflected but they are stock bulbs. it is a cheaper ficture

It really depends on the specific fixture. A Tek or better, I'd say yes for particular clam dependin on the depth (I probably wouldn't want it to be more than 14" or so). This isn't a professional opinion, just based on having kept a couple derasas under T5s (4x36" in my case) and a good amount of reading.

I wouldnt try it unless your able to keep it in the upper half of the tank. In my opinion I think it takes a bit more light if you want to keep it on the sand bed.
