Copperband butterfly wont touch aptaisia

So, after trying to get a copperband in my tank without my powder blue tang killing it for months, I finally got one in that he accepted but the darn butterfly will not touch any aptaisia, he eats nothing but pods all day long and will not even look at the aptaisia. Whats up with that? Anyone ever had this happen?

Sometimes it takes them a few weeks to try the aptaisia. Just hope he will eat something else once the aptaisia are gone.
