Please Help ID Algae

Please help me figure out what this is and what I can do to stop it from growing.
I clean it all off with a tooth brush, do a water change and a week later it is back.
I keep my nutrients down, my params are all good, temp might be a little high.
I use BRS phosphate remover, thought this would help, not (its been 2 months).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

ok

edit: OK, maybe put that rock in an entirely different flow pattern and see if that doesnt help kill that black algae. or put it in high light so green algae messes up the black algae

can you see any like vent holes here and there along the black mass?

has anyone seen any really really dark green cyano? i've seen dark greenish blue, but not black. cyano does grow in sheets, but i cant see it being in a clean tank.

i really cant determine if that is algae. i've seen pretty much all the common ones too.

step one in all this is to get a good ID. so that's the only reason i keep kicking this one around. a good ID enables you to deal with it better

I have what appears to be black cyano, under a microscope you can see green but with the naked eye it looks black. It also thrives in high flow. But it does not look like that, mine is fuzzy.
