Hydor Koralia Controllable Power Head Question
Will Hydor Koralia controllable pumps work with all wave makers?
Thanks! Mark |

I think the controllable koralias are rated at 12v not 110v. So, unless the wave maker is rated on running 12v, then no it won't work with a wave make that puts out 110v. Makes senses?

Yes, I think it does. So as long as the controller is rated to run 12V pumps it should work with Koralias even if it isn't a Koralia controller. Did I get it right?

Absolutely Not.
The controllable Koralias have a special plug that will only connect to the Hydor Wavemaker. They do not have a standard power plug at all, just the proprietary one. The Hydor wavemaker is pretty impressive though. Very tweakable and user friendly. |
