Freshwater dip for mushrooms

Hi fellow reefers. I picked up some new mushrooms today and would like to freshwater dip them before adding them to the community, but I am uncertain of the appropriate length of time. Can you please let me know your approach to safely freshwater dipping 'shrooms.

Thanks!!

I dip my corals for 5 minutes in Tropic Marine Pro-Coral Cure for 5 minutes (salt water mix) and then swish them around for another minute in Revive (again salt water mix). A 5 minute bath in Interceptor is also a good idea.

Thanks guys. I didn't have any TMPC on hand but I will get some for future use. I just used fresh ro/di water and added some FWE. All is well thus far.

Glad to see you dipping new additions. The above recommended procedures are good ones. I do a 5-7 minute dip with Revive. Has done very well for me.

Good louck and happy reefing
