URGENT HELP- Tunze Osmolator keeps filling after pump is off

Hi,

Leaving for holiday in 12 hours and my newly setup Tunze Osmolator
is driving me crazy (of course it happen now :wall: )

the water level is fine then when i look later the pump is still dribbling out water. therefor the high warning alarm and its dumped about 20L.

Is it because the end of the feed hose it lower than the water level the RO storage container? Maybe I can move the feed hose to my frag tank instead of the sump. Its higher that the sump and RO storage container.

Anyway is this my problem cuz i need to fix it before i fligh to europe in 12 hours.

Aaron

i cant say for sure (because there isnt a picture) but it sounds like your getting a siphoning effect. this is caused when the drian line is lower then the container. if the drain is higher then the container, then it wont pull that siphon once it is turned off. try that. (i hope that give you a idea?? im not familiar witht the osmolator...)

yes. make sure the feed is higher then your storage container. maybe run it to the overflow of the tank, so its not under water.

Yes make sure the feed line is higher than the water top off container, also make sure the feed line isnt under water or you will get a siphon the other way around.

Once you raise the osmolator feed it doesn't hurt to have a 1/4" check valve on the hose as well, just in case your tube somehow gets immersed and creates a siphon from you tank into your rodi storage. That's nasty when that happens.
