Reef Octopus NWB 200 or 150 for 90 gallon?
All,
What would you recommend for a 90 gallon FOWLR tank; the Reef Octopus NWB 200 Needle Wheel Protein Skimmer or the 150? |

150 is plenty big enough for a FOWLR. Oversizing a skimmer usually results in poor performance.

If I turn it into a reef, would a 200 then work better?

i say go with the 200 hundred. more tan likely you will eventually throw some mushrooms or something in there and then it begins. and yes the ext skimmers would be best but for the size of the tank and just a fish only the 200 is good
