I ordered a diamond watchman goby yesterday but I have a 2" deep sandbed 11 hermits and a cbs was this a smart move for a 35 gal tank

Depends on how much life there is in your sand bed and if he takes to supplemental feeding. I've heard that sandbed in a 75g is the minimum

If it eats mysis you'll be fine till the CBS eats him.

There this a small clown pair and a firefish that's on the way with him. I do plan to feed sups I was thinking about a hob 24" fuge with skimmer to grow pod chaeto and live sand also

My cbs doesn't bother anything tho he sits in his cave he doesn't bother the hermits or the fish he just chills. I just want a good clean up crew because coral is next.

My diamond went 4 weeks in QT with no sandbed. He was eating mysis, flake, pellets, etc from day 1.
The time in QT will give you time to get him eating prep'd food. Did I mention QT???
