Oh, I wish that was my tank...
it is one of the display tanks at the Waikiki aquarium...
No they dont move that much, they more sit and wait for prey items to go by, but I dont personally think they are boring, I think they are very interesting Besides being stationary means that better pictures than mine should be easy to come by!

which of these could I do without a skimmer

Tank: 34g Solana 50% LPS 50% SPS
Controller: Reefkeeper Lite (controls heater, lights,fan and monitors temp & pH)
Light: Outer orbit (150HQI Phoenix 14k and 2 ATI Blue plus,1 UV super actinic and 1 fiji purpleT5's)
Circulation: MP10 and stock return pump
Sump: Stock skimmer, middle chamber refuge with chaeto and mangroves, filter floss,and a bag of carbon
Top Off: tunze osmolator with 5.5g reservoir

Current Tank Info: ghetto grad school reef.....11g rimless tank, 36X9X9, lit by Cree and Rebels scobbled together. Stocked mostly with free stuff I got from panhandling my fellow reefers.

im looking for a low maintenance tank that doesn't require too much fancy equipment since my main tank gets that biggrin.gif which idea do you think would be best? (besides sea monkeys lol)

Id go with a Zoa garden. Easy upkeep and they'll like the lighting.
