Spoiled myself for my birthday!

So on the 30th this month is my birthday and ordered too much stuff! The best part is everything is scheduled to arrive on the 30th!

1 Powder Brown Tang 2"
1 Blue Tang 1"
1 Goniopora Green Coral 2.5"
1 LT Plate Coral Coral 2.5"
40 Nassarius
20 Nerite
20 blue/white hermit
9 scarlet
2 porcelain crabs
1 sally light
2 emerald crabs
1 peppermint shrimp
1 serpent starfish

And a bunch of other chemicals, magfloat, heater, test kits, and upgraded cooling fan! The best part is I got a steal on everything and combined with shipping it's only $270! If I purcahsed all the same stuff at my LFS it would have cost $560 not including tax.

I'm so excited I can't stand it!

This is also my first time ordering anything live via the mail. I hope everything works out.

su

All the inverts are from ReefScavengers.com

The fish and corals were from bluezoo

All the supplies are from marinedepot

They all have crazy shipping specials. BlueZoo has free overnight on orders over $100 which is crazy.

I'm always happy with marine depot. Heard great things about Bluezoo, Reef Scavengers I'm not familiar with.

A 1" blue tang? that's pretty small, I don't think I've seen one that small.

Yeah, that's the size that was on sale for $22 so I thought I would give it a whirl.

I've checked out Bluezoo a couple times but haven't ordered from them yet. Let us know how it goes. Happy Birthday!

Here's the update on everything I received.

Marine Depot - Everything perfect and exactly what I ordered and got here on time!

Blue Zoo Aquatics - Received the corals and blue tang exactly as described. The powder brown arrived as a powder blue and 4-5" inches. Not sure what to do because the PB tang was supposed to be 1-2". They are both in the QT getting a copper treatment for 4 weeks. I saw the blue tang scratching at some PVC so I didn't hesitate with the copper.

Reef Scavengers - Order isn't shipping until the new year. They don't want to take a chance with inverts getting stuck in the holiday craze.

I'll take some pics of the blue and powder blue tomorrow. I don't want to freak them out with camera flashes right now.

I will be posting pics of the entire setup after my controller comes in. I'm working on the power center right now.

I'm using copper safe (chelated) and 20gal. Should I not use copper to treat the possible ich? I don't see any spots but I did see the little guy scrape on some PVC.

Yeah I always go with copper because it's very easy to use. I would screw up hypo so I don't even try. Also, copper kills lots of other parasites. I think hypo only kills ich (don't quote me on that.)

*Update* The fish have been treated with copper now for over 48 hours and both a calm and eating like pigs.
