Pressure vs Flow rated pumps?????

So what is the difference??? If 2 pumps made by the same company and have near equal gph, what makes one flow biased and one pressure biased?? Is it the head pressure?

That's right, the pressure rated pump can provide more flow at higher head pressures. These pumps are an excellent choice for a closed loop system that has filtration, uv, etc. built in place and circulate the flow.

I have two Reeflo Marlin high pressure pumps on my 300g FO aquarium system that provide close to 50gpm turnover thru 100 sqft of 25micron filtration; 50lbs of TBPCarbon for bio control and 80w of UV.
