Just got my new AquaticLife T5 High Output Lights!!!!
My bulbs will be here tomorrow or the next day (thanks to Grim Reaper) but I'm still gonna set it up tonight. Christmas came late this year - ha!
I saw a few threads about this bad boy, so I can post info if anyone is interested. It's the 48". |

Is it the six bulb? If so where did you get it?
Thanks |

It's the 4 bulb. I don't have the money nor need for the 6 bulb.

What size tank? I was leaning towards the four bulb but public opinion steered me to the six. I'm seting up a 75 Gal.
Oh' yea I need pictures not for any particular reason I just like looking. |

I guess it depends what type of corals you want to keep. I'm going to start out with softies and some LPS (that I'll keep closer to the top of the tank) and maybe some low light clams.
My tank is 90 gallons. I'll take some pics w/the girlfriends camera tonight. She's gonna think I'm a wack-job. Ha! |

Well, I just spent 45 minutes putting the light together. It is not sitting on my tank because one of the screws is now stripped. No, my screwdriver is not dull, the screw just sucks. Since the screw is stripped, one of the legs will not attach to the main unit. This means I have no light to put up yet.
There were two alan wrench headed screws that did not come with the unit. It's not a huge deal, but if the instructions are telling me to install these screws, it would be nice to have the screws. The timer looks great (not sure if it works yet) and the overall design is nice. I'm calling them tomorrow for a new leg/screw set. I'll fill you all in after I talk to their customer service. |

Just spoke ot Dave at aquaticlife. He was extremely helpful and understanding of the situation. They are going to send me out a new set of legs (no charge) to replace the one with the stripped screw.
Top quality in my opinion! |

Yes I have the same fixture and it's great and their customer service is top notch. I too was missing the screws and allen wrench but Dave mentioned that it was a running change to not include them when they changed the lens cover.
