New tank ?
my first salt water, i believe this is aiptasia, i just got the live rock today. I was at the lfs picking out rock, saw this piece and thought that looks cool. Did research when i got home and realized that its a pest. just want to confirm that this is aiptasia. thanks

Yup thats the dreaded aiptasia...get rid of it ASAP.

They are ugly, at least to some people, but they won't hurt most fish.
