cleaning the corners of your tank

does anyone else get nervous about cleaning/scraping the coraline of the corners of your tank? worried that the blade might go under the silicon or break the silicon causing a leak?

how do you clean the corners of your tank?

I gingerly approach the edges of the silicone but I still nip some. I also worry 'bout leak.

I'm just real careful and I usually start next to the silicone and then the blade outwards.

I also use a razor blade to keep it clean once in a while. If you take your time you should be ok. If your sloppy then I would be worried.

I have never really worried about the risk of leaks, but I do worry about making the seam ugly. I have found that hitting it agressively with a good scrubby early on lets me skip the scraping later on down the line.

I am always careful around the corners and don't scape unless absolutely necessary! Be careful and good luck!
