Bulkhead fitting question?
I am trying to figure out how much room in my overflow is needed to put a 1 inch bulkhead fitting. My question is, how wide it the flange on the 1 inch bulkhead? I would be greatful if someone could measure theirs and let me know.
Thanks

go to bulkreefsupply or gl*******s websites. They have the measurements for all the bulkheads.

A normal black one is 2 3/8" across the flange, say 2 1/2" to be on the safe side.

The flange on the 1" BH I have on my desk is right at 2 3/4". I've used some others that were smaller but don't have any of them right now to measure.
