AquaEuro or octopus
Looking for a small skimmer for my 20l with 20g sump.
Help me choose octopus nwb 110 with bubble plate or a the aquaeuro classic 55 with bubble plate I can't find any reviews on the aqua euro 55. Would the octopus be more then I need? |

octopus has more reliable (and updated pinwheeled) OTP-1000, AquaEuro has the same old unreliable resun needle wheel its always had. octopus has the updated semi cone transition, PS-55 still using the funnel neck (that octopus used on their previous NW line).
BTW the Aqua euro is just the older discontinued Octopus PS/TS-120 with resun pumps instead of octopus pumps. I think they pushed them off on aqua euro when they discontinued them. discontinued octopus TS-120 ![]() latest aquaeuro PS55 ![]() and naturally the previous line of Octopus NW skimmers were just funnel neck AquaEuro skimmers with octopus pumps. aquaeuro and octopus are made in the same factory. pumps and updates are the only real difference between the two but octopus have more reliable (and updated pinwheeled) pumps. |

Looks like I should go with the octo. I don't need something unreliable like a pump to worry abut.
