I would go with any of the Eshopps hang on skimmers, I love mine, I have the PSK-7 and it produces about 1\4 of a cup every 10 hours or so.

+1 Eshopps. Mine tank is a super lightly stocked 20 gal, and it still pulls a 1/3 of a cup every other day. And when I say it's super lightly stocked, I only have 2 true perc clowns, and a baby 6-line right now. I have roughly 20 lbs of LR, and no corals.

I've been using a HOB Reef Octopus skimmer for 6 month that has broken in nicely. Once i dialed it in, it's been pulling out some good crud.

I second the bubble magus nac3, hob octo, and eshopp BUT would suggest the vertex IN 100 skimmer or 80 if so. From what i know, premium aquatics is selling them plus free shipping or that's the deal i got for my IN100.

The IN 100 is definitely one I'd recommend. Only a bit more expensive than the others but IMO much, much better.

the HOB magus skimmer isnt junky at all. but i think you would have better luck with the NAC3 or even the BMQQ just because the 5e seems pretty bulky. I have expierance with the QQ, the 3, the 6, and the 66.
