Metal Halide

I am going to buy a 400 watt ballast but want to run a 150watt bulb...Will metal halide allow you to do this...I can get a good deal on the 400watt ballast that is why i am asking...???Thanks...

nope. there is only one switchable electronic ballast on the market that I'm aware of and its only switchable from 150w, 175w and 250w. you'll probably blow up a 150w bulb with a 400w ballast.

Don't do it...it won't work. I will have one for sale once I get un-lazy and use my 250 that I bought
