nova extreme

i have the nova extreme and have the 10000k bulbs that came with it. i was wondering if it would help my tank if i got 20000k bulbs?

20k will have a lower par than the 10k and coral growth will be slower.I prefer a 12 or 14k.kind of a happy medium.20k`s will also give You a blue look.Corals pop pretty good under 20k`s.

i agree, if you switch those 10k's out for 12k's it will make a pretty big difference.
i run 2 blue's, 1 purple, and 1 12k. it gives a pretty blue look, but i like it.

Try the new KZ 14K new gen coral! I run 3 of those 1 figi purple and a couple of Aquascience Actinics
