Polished up the reflectors today
I took the fixture off the tank today and cleaned down the reflectors and polished them up with Brasso. Wow! That stuff works great.

some metal polishes leave an almost invisable residue to inhibit further tranishing. Not sure if brasso does. You may find the reflect quickly starts to accumlate a thin opaque film if it does.

that looks great. I have a lense on mine that accumulates most of the gunk, hard to wash though becuase its pretty flexible. I have to take it out of the T% fixture to clean it. No big deal, jsut think the manufacturer could ahve used a thicker piece of plexi
