use a spray bar or not ??

im kinda new to this when it comes to the larger scale tanks iv kept nanos but i have a 55 gallon with a few soft corals but i have one power head and a cascade 1000 canister filter and a emp 400 hob but should i use the spray bar attachment for the canister or not kinda stumped

Do not use, it will reduce your flow.

I agree with the above posters. The holes clog up too quickly and reduces your water flow.

Same the spray bar IMO is a bad idea. I even took off the dual nozzle that AGA had set up in the overflow kit for my 210gal. More concentrated flow the better!

ive used spray bars in the past, they work fine for a while, then the algae seems to get into them and they will clog, if you clean them a lot then you could use them, personally if you do decide to try them id ensure they were an inch at least or a little more below the water level as they are great for creating salt creep.

Current Tank Info: I have a 92 gal Corner Tank, and way too many pieces of equipment to list really, (proud member of the reef central corner club)
