Water question

I posted this on my local forum but haven't received that many replies. Really this is strictly a research thing. So everyone chime please.

1) How much RO/DI water are you using on a typical Day/ Week? For Top off and water changes? Obviously the answer isn't much help without knowing some things to control for variables

2) Tank size including sumps and everything

3) Lighting - Type and hours in use per day

4) Open or closed top?

5) Cooling? If so how? Fans, chiller, etc.

6) Seasonal variation in water requirements? If so what season is worse and by how much

7) Where are you located? Since I've opened it up to a much wider audience. Even a state if you're uncomfortable with a specific location. But y concern is a state like WA has significantly different weather and relative humidity between the eastern and western half of the states. If there's a variation like that please find a way to identify it.

Last anything else you think might be pertinent.

15-20 gallons, 10 from water changes and 5-10 for top off.

2) Tank size including sumps and everything

60 gallon DT
30 gallon refugium
30 gallon sump

3) Lighting - Type and hours in use per day

250w MH on DT 10 hours a day
150W MH on refugium 10 hours a day

4) Open or closed top?

Everything is open topped

5) Cooling? If so how? Fans, chiller, etc.

I run my system at 70-74 degrees or so, using a chiller.

6) Seasonal variation in water requirements? If so what season is worse and by how much

Seems to be a gallon or two additional in topoff in the winter.

Just curious, but what are you working on here?

As a side note, I am changing out my sump today with something larger (75 gallons) and may have updated numbers for you in a few weeks.

Is this really of no interest to people? I truly want to know the answers. Not selling anything. Its strictly a research project. If not this forum what forum do you think I should post it in? Because to be honest I'm surprised at the total lack of response.
