Light Bulb Replacements?

I need to replace some halide bulbs (1st time) and wanted some help.

I have 2 Coralife 150w, 20k double ended bulbs in a Coralife fixture now. The bulbs are about 18 months old.

Do I have to use Coralife replacements or is another brand better? I'm looking for a good balance between growth and flourecence, do I use 20k, 14k or 10k?

Where is the best place online to buy bulbs?

Forgot to mention. These are running on a 92 gallon corner tank. 22" deep.

18 months is quite a stretch. I think you will be surprised how bright your tank is when you replace the bulbs. You should try some Phoenix bulbs. I usually just shop around until I find the best deal on them.

Reeflux 12000K or Coralvue 14000K will give you a good blue color and about the same growth of a 10000K - plus they are a little cheaper then some of the big name brands.

I just bought 14k aquamax bubls. Got a great deal on them from Marine depot and they have the same color spectrum as 20k and with good par.
