going to battle

so ive let the aiptasia in my tank get out of hand. so i got me a hypodermic needle and im going to try lemon juice.ive tryed all the other stuff joes,redsea and others. im going to hit them hard so is a shot glass of lemon juice going to change my ph or alk any. the tank is a 26bow with a 10 gal sump

Have you tried peppermint shrimp? They may shy away from the larger aiptasia but will go after the new and smaller "sprouts"

i dont like peppermints. ive had them eat corals and i also have some corals that need to be fed like dendros. so i dont want to fight them

A shot glass of lemon juice in a 26 gallon tank? I personally think that would be a huge mistake. Maybe a couple of cc per day.

If you have had bad experience with peppermint shrimp, I would venture to guess you got something other than peppermint shrimp. Possibly camel shrimp.
