Reef-Safe Critter???
Hiya. I noticed a weird critter in my tank yesterday. First I thought it was a sponge or suttin like that, but today I noticed it was in a different spot, and tonight somewhere else. All within 2 inches, so its a real slowwww mover. I'm sorry no pic. I googled hitchhikers but cannot find it.
It is a cross between a chitton and a sand skater. He is bright red and real small, like the size of the cursor for typing. He looks like he has many legs on each side, tiny, and a whitish spot on one end. Any ideas?? |

^+1 I vote most things small, that bright, and slow moving, sounds like a nudi to me. JUST A THOUGHT tho because there are no pictures. If you can get a pic, we could probably do a little better job of ID-ing.

check http://www.nudipixel.net/ It is a Nudibranch ID site. You can probably go through only a few to either say....."yes, it looks kinda like that" or "nope, not it". They are pretty distinct in shape, and color. Now identifying which exact one, and if it is reef safe or not, that's tough.
