Sequence 4300 noise
So I have a 2-3 year old sequence 4300 that is making a whirring noise like there is slight internal contact. It has never really made the noise before. I pulled it last week and cleaned the outside and in the area where the motor shaft enters the plastic housing there was a build up of debris. I am assuming that it was salt creep that was slinged off the shaft. It accumulated below the shaft in the housing. I haven't called sequence yet. I am trying to find my receipt but I think it is out of warranty. I has started to have a slow leak around the drain plug on the bottom of the housing. I don't have any micro bubbles in the display like from a pin hole to cause cavitation. When I close down all the outlets the noise stays. The inlet pipe is 2" all the way to the sump and necks down right before the pump inlet. There is also a 90 deg right before the pump inlet. Here is the setup. I have been running this for over 2 years no problems. Ideas?

So I talked to Chris at ReeFlo and it is a bearing in the motor starting to go out. The debris is salt creap from the seal. Looks like I am getting a new ReeFlo. Will get the other one fixed and keep as a spare or sell.
