Its actually post 23, I coppied and pasted it.
I wrote it up because this question comes up ALOT and Ive had really good success with the pickling lime paste method. So I figured I'd just write something up in word so I can jsut copy and paste for new comers that may have aip problems. I had 300 plus aips on about 100 lbs of live rock, and over a period of about 4 weeks i eradicated them a little at a time. I had the luxury of doing it in a seperate holding tank (actually my sump that wasnt in use yet) but as I stated the LR came with quite a few corals on it and they all survived with no ill effects. I also had an anemone in there too come to think of it. I moved him out to the DT towards the end, but he was in during most of the treatment. IMO the key is covering the face of the pest so it cant reproduce and then sucking out the pest with the baster so nothing is left behind to come back again. |

I put 6 peppermints (shrimps not candies) in my 150 and that took care of the problem for me. Good luck!
