Growth on LR
Hey all have a 1 week old RSM...
50 lbs of LR are starting to sprout green "hairs", they stand straight up (or at an angle) and are sometimes in bunches of 3's. Diatom bloom happened a few days ago and I am now growing a bunch of green algae on the walls. Is it possible its from Yellow polyps or GSP frags I added into the tank? The yellow polyps were on a piece of LR from my LFS and this piece of rock had the green hairs on it first. I am unable to get a photo as they are very fine any my camera resolution is not very good. Thanks for any help.

I've dealt with Green Hair Algae before but never noticed it sprouting like this... I haven't ruled it out but I feel like its not this.
