Oatley PVC cement with spaflex
Will my "all purpose" oatley PVC cement securely connect to a PVC sch40 coupling? It's label is the red one. My plan is to glue before I shape (hot bath).

Yes, use primer and glue. Do not twist the spaflex as you push it into the coupling. The way its molded it will worm the glue out. Strait in and hold for several minutes.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is the primer necessary?

The main reason I asked is because I didn't use it on my sch40 pvc plumbing and everything is solid. Does anyone else have experience or advice regarding this?
