How Long??

How long does it take for sand to settle for a new tank?

Should start to settle in a day and clear up with in 2-3 days.

Yep a couple/few days. If you have a sump put a filter sock on the drain line into your sump and change it or clean it out everyday, this should help shorten the time up.

It may clear in a few days and it could take a week to 10 days. If you didn't rinse the sand then it could take even longer then that.

If its not rinsed then it might cloud up everytime you disturb it for a long time. Even after it settles.
