Brittle Stars & fuge
I assume the brittle stars are opputunistic feeders so would they wipe out your pod population. I have pured a few batchs of pods into fuge and population appears to be limited. Fuge is small (5 gal), few inches of sand & rubble and few big balls of cheato. Thaought it would be a pod party by now.

To a point, they probably eat the same stuff, but I have never seen a star take a pod.

my brittal star used to, before he, well fell apart, only small copepods however, larger ones like amphipods would get away pretty quickly
i should also add that he was quite large, so if your thinking a small say CC you should be ok
