API test kit.

i wanted to ask those who have the saltwater test kit from api. i recently bought this kit and there is a space missing there, like another bottle fits there. did u also notice that?

No, there should be two bottles each for ammonia, and nitrate, and one bottle each for ph, and nitrite.

Yeah there's an empty space where you'd think another bottle would go. 6 bottles to the kit, 7 spots to put them. Go figure. No clue why they did that but yeah they all do that. I just filled it with my API Calcium tester I bought on the side...

yea i have all the bottles. i was just wondering y would they leave an extra space there. and stitch87: good idea, i just put all the caps there

i don't really use the holders but yeah i seem to remember one time while i was cleaning up around the apartment i put the bottles back and kept looking for what i was missing. gave me some good head scratching time but in the end i figured out i had everything i paid for.

I got the same kit and I just figured they use the case for multiple products, like complete freshwater, trace element tests, saltwater, etc. A generic case to cover several bases.

maybe its leaving room for the alk/kh test , or phosphate kit

This is correct. I have the reef test kit and the marine test kit. Thr marine kit has 7 bottles and the reef only 6.
