That's a good list of foods to try. Maybe some frozen Cylcop-Eeze, if you can find them easily. How big is this fish? Maybe some live brine would be worth a shot.

the fishy is aprox 3 inches or so.. its to skitish yet for the tape measure against the tank glass trick
day 1 it hid the majority of the time (expected) but came out some day 2 it was out more and more as the day went along day 3 its out and about probably 90% of the time iam HOPING that he/she starts at least nibbling on food soon, he/she appears to be healthy with good body weight and form no signs of any swim bladded or parisites issues... no belley buldging discloration, spots.flashing, scraping ect |

Well, I might try some frozen Cylcop-Eeze, although they are fairly small. Waiting might solve the problem.

I have read studies pertaining to the stomach content of large angels collected in the wild. Almost all angels collected contained up to 97% sponge. I know my imperator loves sponge. Every once in a while my LFS will have a small sponge frag for 5 bucks and I will buy it just to treat my favorite fish. He swarms it and doesnt leave it alone until it is gone.

what was it eating at the lfs? also, i might try rods food. it's a blend of a lot of different things and i've seen fish go absolutely nuts chasing it around the tank.

look at the ingredients before you order. i forget exactly what's in it, so you could be able to make your own mix cheaper than it costs to buy it. or you might find that it's primarily made up of stuff you've tried already.

The angel formula contains sponge. It hasnt been a whole week yet I wouldnt worry about it. Its normal for new fish to get settled before they start to eat

If you are starting any Angel in your tank, you definitely want at least a few rocks with a good amount of algae growth. It took my False Lemonpeel over 2 months before it took anything prepared. I tried everything I could get my hands on and all it would eat was the live algae growing on my rocks. The first prepared food it took was Nori sheets soaked for about 20 seconds in Selcon. Angels are grazers and need to be provided with the ability to graze. Try strapping some pieces of Nori to the rock itself instead of having it on a clip. It will make for a more natural appearing food.
