Powerhead for cooking live rock
I'm cooking 4 pieces (about 30 lbs) of live rock in 40gal bucket with a koralia 1 for water flow. Is the K1 enough or should I use a K3? & should I do water changes while rock is cooking for almost a month longer?

I would say that that flow is enough. If you have something stronger it wouldn't hurt, but I wouldn't go out and buy something just for the reason.

it's just fine. you can do water changes after two weeks if you want. If you do, get a bucket, take water from curing tank and fill the bucket. Take out each piece and swish it around in the bucket. hold your nose. then place each piece back in the curing tank. Than add fresh water. Don't forget a heater in there.

Thanks. The live rock is already cured. I had largest piece (with a ton of coralline algae) in my 37gal, but decided it was too big for the tank. I'm just storing it, & adding more for a few more weeks until my 65gal tank is ready.
