Chaeto in your overflow boxes?
Advisable or not?
I'm building my first reef on my 240g long but it will be heavily stocked with 3 dozen various damsels / chromis and a 30" Dragon MOray eel. I want to try to fight nitrates the best I can but I only have a Wet/Dry on the tank. Besides setting up a refuge would this idea work? |

Bad idea.
Cheato is a very agressive grower and will block your drain farily quickly. Build a proper sized fuge, buy a proper sized skimmer and you'll be all set. If you can't do those things then I'd suggest not putting that many fish into the tank. |

I do have an empty 20g Long and will soon have a 75g I could use (if I can get it under there).
Never set up a fuge, might need to do some more research. Thanks for the quick response. |
