Assistance with identification??
well.. I got these two at a Petco... I know.. not one of the best places to get fish, but There really arent many options up here in NH for fish... especially in my area. May try to order online... thoughts on that? Anyways, I was told the the Wrasse is an Exquisite Wrasse and the Tang just came from a listing as "Assorted Tang".... so i have no idea... any thoughts? and and all assistance would be great!

The tang appears to be a striped bristletooth tang and the wrasse is an exquisite, probably from maldives.

Thanks for the help. I looked at the exquisites online and it looked like one to me, but always good to be sure. The others that they have gotten in since are alot more pink... look alot different than the one I have. And the Tang... seems like it does look like the pic.... they are in a 65 Gallon.... so I am hoping it is big enough... I will be upgrading when i get into a house to atleast a 125 Gal... But the 65 will be my tank for a while. Big enough?

The tang is a Ctenochaetus sp., though it is not the common yellow-eye kole tang.

Are there signs of stress that i should look for? it isnt darting around or anyhting. Doesnt even spook if you get near tank. if goes to the top when feeding, eats well... seems happy at the moment... no issues at all that i can tell. Tank actually looks like it is doing pretty well. I do have a coral that is spreading like a weed... not sure what it is, but i will post a pic. it is actually in the pic of the tang i posted... it looks like a little tree... i will see if i can post a pic here... It came as a hitch-hiker on a piece of LR i got that had other coral on it... and it has been dropping arms since...

Yeah, I got a tiny frag of a kenya tree for 10 bucks. 3 months later ,the thing is huge and has dropped several branches in the last few weeks. I am going to have these all over my tanks!
