Can I Have A Pair Of Green Mandarin Dragonets In a 55 Gallon With A Kicking Refugium?
Hi!
i was wondering if i can have a pair of mandarins in my 55 instead of just one? it has a 10 gallon sump and a 5 gallon refugium with live rock and chaeto... not to mention the hundred pounds of live rock in the system! and my system is crawling with pods! they are everywhere day and night! also, if i get a male now ( my tank is only 3 months old and i don't want to push 2 in yet) could i get a female in a couple of months and will they pair up? sorry for the quick typing and bad grammar as i am on a touchscreen phone thanks a lot!

I wouldn't do it. I'd be nervous about adding one mandarin to that tank right now. Give it another 6 months before trying one.
