I put 12 months but it is all dependent on the bulbs and the tank and if they have been cooled or not. Usually between 10 and 12 months if properly cooled.

In fixtures that only use passive cooling I am willing to bet they need to be replaced every 6 months.

+1 i wouldn't go longer than 9 months on an sps tank, no longer than a year on any tank.
