Snails, Friend or Foe?

Hey guys, so last night I was looking at my tank a few hours after the lights had went out. Well under the moonlighting I had notice a bunch of litter critters scurrying about. I saw a couple stomatella sp? Lots of pods and also what I'm concerned about. A bunch of tiny little snails, these snails were only on the rock, probably algae eaters. The shells looks exactly like those snails you see after it rains outside. I counted a dozen or more, should i physically remove these snails before their numbers get out of control?

no they will help clean everything just keep an eye on your pumps sometimes they can clog them, they die fast and reproduce just about as fast.

Yep, good advice. Got one of those teeny tiny buggers in my vortech and I'm glad I was watching.
