Yellow water

I have a 180 gal tank with a 75 gal sump that's still cycling. ammonia and nitrite have already registered 0. I am waiting it out for a few more weeks before adding any livestock. I run a reef octopus skimmer rated for 400 gals and about 800 grams of GAC.

My question is, how do i make my water clear? Since I already have placed GAC in my sump, what could I still do to make my water clear.

Tank has around 50kilos of liverocks and 70 kilos of sand.

Run some activated carbon.

I am already running 800 grams of GAC - granulated activated carbon. It's been in the tank for 1 full week now.

With a tank your size pick up a Nextreef reactor or something close and fill about half full and put it on line. Just floating a bag in your sump or tank isnt going to do it for you water size.
