JBJ Ocean Pulse
I think I'm going to get the JBJ wavemaker and use it with a pair of Koralia Evo 1050's. One question though, if you had the dial on the wavemaker set to say 10 seconds, does one pump run for 10 seconds while the other one is off then they alternate, or how exactly does it work? Thanks!

From my understanding/research of this unit your are correct in your thoughts.
I have been on the fence myself with this wave maker and tagging along in the event someone with working knowledge of this unit chimes in.

This wavemaker (timer) works well. The new Hydor Koralia evolutions should be a perfect fit as well.

I have it. It alternates one on/one off and then switches like you describe. Be aware though that it cannot be put on a timer. Unfortunately I learned this after I bought it. When switched on the unit starts in a dual power mode where both outlets receive constant power until it is manually set to alternate via the dial. Once power is shut off to the unit it must be reset to alternate each time the power is switched back on. I wound up buying one of the power strip kind— which will work on a timer— to use instead.

Thanks for the info guys.
ibnozn- I'm aware that this wavemaker cannot be used with a timer. It's not a huge minus for me.
