Ro auto shut off ?

I recently installed a float valve on my ro/di unit and it worked fine for about a week but now when the float valve shuts off the good water the reject water just keeps going and going. Why is it doing this?

You need an auto shut off valve, it will stop all water when any of the lines back up.

usually this is caused by air in the filters, the air must be purged out of the system for the shut off valve to work. usually running the ro unit for a few days straight will purge out the air.. hope this helps.....

But, It will not activate without enough pressure. I think you need at least 60psi water pressure at the inlet of the ro unit
