i don't know the parameters of the water right now, because i borrow my test to my friend... but like 2 days ago were perfect all the results. My frog spawg is located like in the middle of the tank.. And i'm curious because the rest of my corals are fine... I have an album that i made i think yesterday and you can see the difference in my frog spawn.
I put some pictures, hope it can help.. Thanks again, Omar |

No, is like in the middle of the tank, but a lot of light is going to it. About my lights there are not metal halides... The brand is Odyssea and is daylight and actinic. Both are on at the same time right now

none taken shane, it was a very vague comment ---- i do see that you have hamilton lighting which is eons better then oddysea so im sure you are already aware of how cheap they are!!
just my opinion but i have read review after review about how cheaply they are made, that they are not safe, use inferior wiring and components, get very hot very quickly, and can go up in flames. This is just what i read not my exact opinion because i have never owned one. Ill do some research and see if i can find the links that were explaining this to me. It was enough to persuade me into getting a coralife fixture. And no the reviews were not on coralifes website or in anyway affiliated with another manufacturer. |

I just bought my first FS 2 weeks ago and thought mine were a little more transparent then I expected especially when they are really blown up! I thoght they just had to acclimate more but they still look the same.

Holy crap tspors, that frogspawn is awesome.
as for the "transparent" frogspawn, it looks okay to me, if it is opening up each day, I wouldn't worry. How much more green was it in the past?

I have had an Odyssea light on my tank for a few months now with no problems, the posts I had found were mostly older posts, and from what other people have heard. I think that they have improved slightly from the older ones. Are they cheaper made than the others ?
Yes, but if that is all you can afford and it gets you started, then fine. |
