nudibranch
I am thinking of putting a lettuce nudibranch in my 120 gal tank to fight an on going hair algae problem.
Can the nudi cause any serious issues if it dies? ph 8.7 temp 76.3 sg 1.026 nitrate 20ppm I've been doing biweekly water changes to take care of this. 2 weeks ago my nitrate was through the roof. 160 ppm per api test kit. |

your best bet is to export nutrients, manual removal and bigger more frequent water changes. one lettuce nudi isn't going to eat all you algae even if it did it's going to poop and send all those nutrients back into your tank . to export those excess nutrients you could run a refugium or get a bigger better skimmer or feed less or you could try purigen or chemipure elite
