help.. attack of the mini Nudis

My tank is pretty old now(more than 8 years) and I've never seen any pests like these. A couple days ago I noticed some of my zoos were closed up. They didin't open for a couple days then started to open back up slowly. I have the same green zoos a couple inches away and they looked fine the whole time so I thought this was pretty odd.

I just found yesterday while the actinics only were on a very, very small green nudi and identified it to be this one:

He was on my green zoos and they were all closed up. He was easy to spot because the green on them really pops under actinics. I grabbed him and put him out of his misery. The thing is today I just found another one on my GSP. I got him but I'm assuming there must be more.

Has anyone had these before? What did you do to get rid of them? Can you do anything besides just removing them when you happen to see them?

Ive had em. The only thing I was able to do was remove my removable colonies and freshwater dip them. They eventually wiped out my fixed colonies so the only food they had was the colonies I was dipping. After time, I think I was rid of them. Then I upgraded tanks and did an agressive fw dip of any zoas before transfer. I also got a couple wrasses that are known to eat nudis.

Thank goodness I seem to be totally nudi free in my new tank.

Theyre evil and tough to irradicate.

I snapped this photo in my tank at the onset of the infestation. This one was quite large. Nearly 1" long!

that was huge but at least easy to spot. Looks pretty otherwise. I had to finally throw out my monty because fragging and dipping weekly didn't help.
