Probe's interchangeable between controllers?

Are all salinity/conductivity electrodes the same style connector no matter the manufacturer? Interchangeable or are they read/calibrated differently?

Ph?

ORP?

Prices seem to vary quite a bit between the different manufacturers. The more expensive the controller is it seems the probes are also more expensive though they all look similar. I understand there are lab grade and standard grades, and those prices will vary.

For example, Profilux's salinity electrode is like $235, Neptune's lab grade is $140. Same?

I know that ph and ORP probes are interchangeable. Not sure on salinity.

ph and orp are interchangable, although you may have to recalibrate them. same with the salinity electrode

Has anyone tried this? I'm also looking into another brand of Salinity probe for my Profilux 3, The first one I have lasted a year and stopped working. Its hardly worth $250 to monitor it for a year but if I could pick up DA's probe for $90 I might do it.
